Miley Cyrus As Undiscovered Gyrl

Miley Cyrus is a heavy contender for the starring role in Undiscovered Gyrl, a screen adaptation of the popular novel by Allison Burnett.

The movie plot is described as the saga of “a lost suburban girl who descends into a life of reckless partying and promiscuity.”

Although it is still too early to say, but if Miley bags the role, she would definitely make an interesting choice as the debut actress for the movie.

Irina Sheik is a Russian model born in 1986. She was born Irina Shaykhlislamova and sometimes credited as Irina Shayk. She has appeared on the covers of such magazines as Annabelle, Jalouse and Bolero. Sheik appeared in the 2007 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue as one of the 2007 Rookies and also makes an appearance in the 2008 edition.

In 2008, Sheik starred in a photo story for the song single “Diamond Girl” produced by Ryan Leslie.

Ryan Leslie also produced a song dedicated to Irina, named ‘I-R-I-N-A’, a song he produced to ‘break the ice’ on the set of diamond girl, as she didn’t speak Russian.

Thats a novel way to get to know a person. Have them feature on a song on the set. Check out the model shoot for Irina Shayk (sometimes referred to as Sheik by her fans) below. I am skipping out the pics as the video contains more than pics. Enjoy!

Hannah Montana singing star Miley Cyrus has said she would work again with Vanity Fair photographer Annie Leibovitz because she absolutely loves her work and its irresistible. Controversy or not, Miley thinks highly of Annie Leibovitz.

In fact Miley said everybody outside of US loves the work but in US people are a bit conservative and too prudish to really appreciate the work of art that is photography.

Miley said this - “I just had to deal with that and just realize that I got to work with an amazing photographer.”

Wendy Venturini

A bit about the background, Wendy was born on January 30, 1979, in Chicago, Illinois. She is 29 years old. Racing comes to her from her family background as her dad Bill Venturini is a two time ARCA Champion.

After finishing high school, Wendy Venturini went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and Psychology.

Wendy Venturini also minored in Journalism as well.

That she was immensely talented was no surprise as while at UNC, she hosted a show for Sports Xtra at UNC-CH Student Television.

She also worked as a sports intern for the NBC affiliate, WCNC. While at WCNC, she was a field producer for NASCAR specials during race weeks at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. (Phew!)

Wendy has been happily married to Jarrad Egert. Her husband is an engine tuner for Tony Stewart.

Some views I have been able to gather off the net.

I’ve always liked Wendy as a NASCAR reporter. But since her recent marriage to a JGR employee, she seems to be showing a little bit of bias. What say you, NASCAR Nation?

I should have mentioned that I thought that she “soft-pedaled” her reporting on the JGR Nationwide penalties. She defended their actions, as a good wife should. But maybe a good wife shouldn’t be reporting about her hubby’s team? I still like her, I’m just a little disappointed.

I dont think so. If I had a relative in Nascar I would probably show bias too.(Guilty as charged) Ive watched her before in those school bus races up there in NC and she tenacious plus she has racing in her blood with I believe her dad or brother. I would rather watch her than Jimmy Spencer any day.

Check out Wendy Venturini interview videos below from Youtube that I have been able to gather. Don’t forget to leave a shout out to Wendy Venturini below if you like her।

Octuplets Mother Nadya Suleman

Looking for Nadia Sulaiman? This is the right place. Also, check out what America has to say at the discussion below.

Nadya Suleman (sometimes referred to as Nadia) is the mother under the spot light. Now the questions are being asked if the spot light is big enough to accommodate the new family. Before I go on to that subject, lets talk about the octuplets and the mother’s profession. According to media reports available, Nadya (Nadia) used to work in a fertility clinic and had IVF despite already having six kids.

Now according to a neighbor, all 14 kids were born using the same sperm donor. What is the probability of that happening. Nadya Suleman Guiterrez is 33 years old and lives with her kids in a three bedroom bungalow unit.

But US guidelines of home occupancy say these folks should now get a bigger place as there is a policy on how many occupants can be in a given area.

The mother described the experience of giving birth to so many children as ecstatic and miraculous. I have been searching for photos of this lady but since none are available, view the mom from the video below -

French Newspaper Nice-Matin Scoops Hollywood Reporters On Jolie-Pitt Twins

Angelina's obstetrician Dr Michel Sussmann leaves the Lenval Hospital in Nice, southern France, Monday, July 14, 2008, where US actress Angelina Jolie has given birth to a girl and a boy. The obstetrician who delivered the twins, told that the actress, the babies and Jolie's partner, actor Brad Pitt, 'are doing marvelously well. Sussmann said Jolie gave birth to a boy, Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, by Cesarian section on last Saturday night. (AP Photo/Lionel Cironneau)

NICE, France — The world's entertainment press tripped over themselves, making embarrassing errors along the way, as they fought to be first to report the biggest celebrity story of the year: the birth of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's twins.

In the end, the scoop went to a provincial French newspaper.

"It was Brad Pitt who chose to give the scoop to Nice-Matin," said assistant editor-in-chief Olivier Biscaye. "He said to the doctor that the local media should be the first informed about the birth."

Nice-Matin put one of its most experienced reporters on the story, Jean-Francois Roubaud, who was given access that the rest of the media pack camped outside the Lenval hospital could only dream about. While security kept out other reporters, Roubaud was allowed inside and given access to Jolie's obstetrician, Dr. Michel Sussmann.

So while the In Touch Weekly Web site almost got it right when it reported that twin girls had been born Saturday, Nice-Matin knew better. The newspaper also spared itself the frenzied run-around of other news outlets following a false report by U.S.-based television program "Entertainment Tonight" at the end of May that the twins had been born.

The French gossip magazine Closer also claimed a world exclusive when it mistakenly anticipated the birth of the twins by nearly two weeks, and several gossip Web sites got their names wrong.

"We knew we would be the first in the world," said Christophe Caietti, editor of the Nice-Matin magazine section, which spotlighted the birth with a special insert Monday.

Roubaud was given a heads-up that the Caesarean section was going to be performed 30 minutes before Jolie went in for the delivery Saturday evening. The birth certificates show that Knox Leon was born at 6:27 p.m. and his sister, Vivienne Marcheline, a minute later.

"Roubaud spoke to the doctor around 10 p.m., 9:45. We had all the details: the names, weight, one boy, one girl," said Caietti.

Nice-Matin broke the story when it published news of the births on its Web site at 2 a.m. Sunday, four hours before the print version hit the newsstands.

The access also gave the paper other little exclusive nuggets, like Pitt's first words after the birth of the twins, as reported by Sussmann: "Marvelous, wonderful!" and the doctor acknowledging that the date of the delivery had been moved up by about 10 days "for the mother's comfort."

As the major daily serving the French Riviera, the 280,000-circulation Nice-Matin has always made celebrity life an integral part of its coverage. The magazine section this summer has featured photos of Naomi Campbell walking along the beach, Jerry Hall in St. Tropez and Faye Dunaway preparing for production of a film about the life of Maria Callas. But the general-interest newspaper prides itself on respecting celebrities' privacy.

"Nice-Matin has always chosen not to play the game of paparazzi towards the celebrities who have chosen to live in the region. We respect them, and they do likewise. We let them have a peaceful life. This is why I think Brad and Angelina have chosen to make this gift to Nice-Matin," Caietti said.

Other celebrities with Riviera residences, including Elton John, Bono and the Edge, often give the newspaper access to events _ on the condition they are for local publication only and not for sale, Caietti said.

On Monday, the paper featured a Page One picture taken by its own photographer of Pitt (wearing the must-have item of the summer: a Panama hat) posing alongside Sussmann, Mayor Christian Estrosi and the Lenval hospital director, Bernard Lecat.

"Everyone wants that picture. It is not for sale. It would be very expensive, maybe not a million dollars, but very expensive. It is the only picture from the day," Caietti said. "But we won't sell it, out of respect for the family."

So far, that is as close as the paper has come to the Jolie-Pitt family. But Nice-Matin will remain on the Brangelina story _ with hopes of yet more scoops to come. It has already reported that an unnamed U.S. publication has paid $11 million for exclusive rights to the first photo of the newly expanded Jolie-Pitt family, and that the proceeds will go to charity.

Once that deal is executed, Nice-Matin hopes to get a shot of the twins and their parents.

"And maybe an interview at their villa in Correns" nearby, Caietti said.

Bollywood movie banned in Nepal

Buddhist monk in Nepal
Buddhism is widely practised in Nepal

The Bollywood film "Chandni Chowk to China" has been banned in Nepal because of a scene suggesting the Buddha was born in India, officials say.

Siddartha Gautama, who became the Buddha around 2,500 years ago, was born in what is now south-western Nepal.

Many Nepalis revere the Buddha and have been upset by the film. Protesters have burned tyres in the capital, Kathmandu.

The ban comes even though the offending scene has been cut from the film in Nepal at the request of the censor.

Reincarnation

"We've banned the screening of the movie in theatres across the country considering the growing public protests over controversial remarks in the film," home ministry spokesman Nabin Ghimire told the AFP news agency.

Lumbini
Lumbini - where Buddha was born - has become a major pilgrimage site

Officials say that the decision to ban the film was taken even though the offending section of the film - a Bollywood co-production with the US studio, Warner Brothers - was cut at the request of Nepali censors.

The film is about a lowly Indian chef who is mistaken for the reincarnation of a fabled Chinese warrior. Its official website says that it is "the first ever Bollywood kung-fu comedy".

A spokesman for the ministry of information told AFP that while the offending scene had been deleted, it could not be removed from pirated DVDs and videos that are smuggled into the country.

The spokesman said that the foreign ministry had also been asked to take immediate steps to stop any unedited screening of the film in other countries.

Nepal, created nearly 240 years ago, has been officially secular since the removal of the king last year, but correspondents say many people in the country remain deeply spiritual.
